HOW IT ALL BEGAN
One Love as a collective has been serving Tampa Bay for over 11 years - with just one Doula who started it all. Yamel Belen - Founder & CEO of One Love Doula & Nanny, started with as Pediatric Registered Nurse - turned Doula. Yamel’s vision for One Love deep rooted in her culture where the Cuarentena is followed and where pregnant women are cared for and nurtured by other women in their circle. Yamel wanted to bring the same warmth to families One Love serves.

One Love has long been a trusted partner for parents in Tampa Bay. Many of the families who first welcomed us into their sacred birth journeys soon transitioned out of postpartum and sought trusted care for their little ones. That’s when One Love Nannywas born.
As the sister company to One Love Doula Services, we proudly carry forward the same legacy of compassion, reliability, and cultural care. Our mission is to match families with dedicated nannies who bring love, support, and peace of mind into the home. We are honored to be a trusted extension of your family, here to guide you through the childcare journey with confidence and warmth.

The vision for One Love Nest grew from a desire to create a sanctuary where families and birth workers could come together in support, learning, and community. Rooted in the values of equitable care and culturally responsive education, the Nest was born out of years of serving families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and recognizing the need for a dedicated space that nurtures both parents and professionals. Today, One Love Nest stands as a place where knowledge meets connection, and where every family is embraced with dignity, love, and empowerment on their journey to parenthood and beyond.
